The Lost Eros of Jesus Christ: Reclaiming Sacred Sensuality from the Grip of Purity Culture
w
ith Michael Morrell

What if the most radical claim of Christian lineage—that God becomes fully human in Jesus Christ—actually includes embracing our capacity for pleasure, desire, and intimate connection? In this transformative keynote, Michael Morrell draws from leading-edge biblical scholarship, eastern and western contemplative traditions, and queer theology to reveal the deeply embodied, sensual Christ hidden in plain sight within our scriptures. Exploring Jesus’s comfort with touch, his celebration of embodied pleasure, and his revolutionary partnership with Mary Magdalene, we’ll discover how the early Way-faring communities practiced forms of intimacy and chosen family that challenge our modern assumptions about faith, sexuality, and relationships.

This presentation integrates insights from biblical scholars and contemplative teachers on the Jesus-Mary Magdalene dynamic, ministers and practitioners’ work on the intersection of eastern tantra and western faith, and radical theologians who see Christ’s ministry as inherently queering and transgressive. Whether you’re healing from religious trauma around sexuality, exploring alternative ways to express love and relationships, or seeking to integrate your spiritual and erotic selves, this opening session brings both theological framework and practical wisdom for living as fully incarnate apprentices of the scandalously embodied Christ. Come prepared to have your understanding of Jesus—and yourself—transformed through this exploration of sacred sensuality and embodied holiness.

Way of Touch: Storytelling & Experience
with Dominique Warfield

In a world where we spend more time caressing screens than skin—ask yourself:

  • Are your touch needs actually being met?
  • Are your fingers tired of swiping, typing, and scrolling?
  • When was the last time you experienced real, nourishing, human connection—the kind that grounds you, awakens you, maybe even arouses you?

Way of Touch is a playful, provocative storytelling experience and embodied exploration that invites you to reimagine your relationship with touch. Whether you’re single, partnered, poly, or somewhere delightfully in between—this is a chance to drop into the art and soul of contact. Led by Dominique Warfield—a guide, provocateur, and tender-hearted truth-teller—this session is part talk, part storytime, and part somatic awakening. You’ll laugh, reflect, and maybe even touch (consensually, of course).

Together we’ll explore:

  • Why touch is vital to our well-being—physically, emotionally, spiritually
  • What’s taboo, sacred, or silently craved in our culture around touch
  • How to bring presence, healing, eros, and connection back into our lives

No experience necessary, just a willing body and an open mind. Come curious. Leave more alive.

All are welcome—especially the touch-deprived, touch-curious, and tender rebels.

Let’s remember what it means to be fully human—through the Way of Touch.

Threshold Guardians: Navigating Sacred Transitions
with Aline Defiglia, LCSW

Standing at the threshold of sexual and relational transformation can feel both exhilarating and terrifying. How do we step into new territory while creating genuine safety for ourselves and others? In this foundational session, licensed psychotherapist Aline Defiglia draws from her expertise in conscious sexuality and trauma-informed practices to equip participants with essential tools for navigating sacred transitions.

Whether you’re questioning long-held beliefs about sexuality, considering alternative relationship structures, or healing from religious trauma around embodiment, this session provides practical frameworks for moving forward with both courage and wisdom. Aline will guide participants through understanding embodied safety—learning to recognize what feels safe and unsafe in your own nervous system—and introduce the Wheel of Consent as a powerful tool for honoring both your YES and your NO as equally sacred.

Drawing from her P3 (Pleasure, Power, Purpose) methodology, this session addresses the reality that many of us carry cultural and religious messaging that has disconnected us from our authentic desires and boundaries. Through gentle exploration and practical exercises, participants will begin to:

  • Recognize embodied safety signals and develop tools for self-regulation during times of transition
  • Practice the Wheel of Consent to understand the different ways we can engage with touch, boundaries, and intimate connection
  • Identify inherited messages about sexuality and relationships that may be hindering authentic expression
  • Develop skills for conscious communication about desires, boundaries, and changing needs
  • Create personal safety protocols for exploring new aspects of sexuality or relationship

This trauma-informed approach honors that most of us carry some wounding around sexuality and relationships, while providing concrete tools for healing and growth. Aline creates a brave space where all sexual, spiritual, and relational orientations are welcomed, and where participants can practice the essential skills of boundary-setting, consent, and embodied awareness that will serve them throughout their journey of sacred transition.

As a threshold guardian, Aline understands that transformation requires both courage to step forward and wisdom to move safely. This session provides the foundational safety skills that will support deeper exploration throughout Eden Camp and beyond.

The Prayerotic Way: Integrating Your Spiritual and Erotic Selves
with KJ Praise Song

In this transformative workshop, KJ Praise Song guides participants through the sacred integration of spirituality and sexuality. Drawing from their Prayerotic framework, participants will:

  • Explore how shame-based religious messaging impacts their erotic expression
  • Learn practical tools for bringing prayerful intention into intimate experiences
  • Discover how kink practices can create pathways to deeper spiritual connection
  • Practice embodiment exercises that honor both the sacred and sensual aspects of being

This session creates a safe container for those questioning traditional Christian teachings about sexuality while offering a framework to reclaim both prayer and pleasure as divine gifts.

Dominique Warfield

Dominique Warfield was born in Japan to an ethnically mixed father, born into the United States’ racial warfare in the 1960s, and a rural Filipina mother who was raised among the rice fields growing food with her family. Her father served in the U.S. Navy. She moved to the U.S. at the age of five, living in various places around the country. Eventually, her family settled in the suburbs of Tampa, Florida. Her mother kept her Filipina culture intact everywhere they lived. They sang karaoke at every large family barbecue—there was one or two every weekend!

She grew up as a competitive cheerleader. Staccato movements, twisty backflips, and flying through the air matched her exuberant nature. She came alive performing comedic character roles in school musicals and dancing lyrically in recitals. She received critics’ choice awards and gold medals for her talents, but inside, she suffered, feeling lonely and contending with severe eczema.

In her early 20s, her life shifted drastically from the mainstream world she had known. She dove deeply into Bhakti Yoga, Native American sweat lodge ceremonies, and Ecopsychology. She began expressing her authentic feelings through free-form dance and ritual drumming with the moon’s cycles. It was during this time that she met her Soul for the first time and began a lifelong journey of inner transformation.
