Do Progressive Christians Need Satan?
Many progressive Christians have rightly left behind cartoonish or theologically problematic images of the devil inherited from medieval traditions. But does the demonology of the early church offer any resources for how progressives might think of Satan/the demonic in our world? This session will argue that the answer is yes.
