Please read our Invitation and Commitments
Fees (2025)
Food Vendors: $275 If we ask you to use your generator, we may offer you a partial refund
Concession & Beverage Vendors: $225
Craft/Merchandise Vendors: $225
All appropriate taxes from sales are the responsibility of the vendor. All vendor fees go to Wild Goose Inc., a non-profit organization. We do not collect commission or charge per sale.
ALL VENDORS
Each vendor has full responsibility for the security of their goods, property, and booth at all times. Each vendor also has full responsibility for their workers while at the festival. Vendors assume liability for any claims or damages resulting from their booth/fixtures/prepared goods.
All vendor registration fees cover space for your booth or food truck, admission tickets for your crew, camping, and parking. We will provide camping on-site for you and your crew and ask you to park your vehicles in the designated parking area.
We are eager to develop a mutually rewarding relationship with all of our vendors, which includes offering generous terms to those who attend. We reserve the right to audit sales receipts to ensure compliance with the vendor agreement. Once your application is accepted, information regarding payment of fees will be emailed to you.
No vendor may sell items that promote hate or violence to individuals or groups. Items must be in keeping with Wild Goose Festival’s Invitation and Commitments and we reserve the right to ask a vendor to not sell or display certain items. If a vendor chooses not to comply with any such request, the Festival may ask that vendor to leave the premises without refunding any booth/table fees.
We require that all vendors have clear, set prices for all items for sale. We discourage bartering and haggling.
FOOD VENDOR GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS
Health Department Requirements: All food vendors providing meals are required to submit their information to the Health Department online at least 8 weeks prior to the event to serve at our event. This does not apply to concessions serving only beverages or snacks. If you apply late and aren’t approved by the local health department, Wild Goose, Inc., is not responsible for any losses.
Vouchers: We provide $5 food vouchers to some of our people. These are to be treated like cash, same as a $5 bill. The food coordinator will show you an example of the voucher at check-in so that you will know what to look for. Please keep all vouchers you accept as payment, and we will reimburse you by check at the end of the festival.
In and Out: We ask that all food and fuel runs to town be coordinated through the food vendor coordinator.
Setup Deadline: In anticipation of Health Department inspections, all food vendors must be set up and ready for inspection by Thursday at 10:00am.
Menu: Please provide a full menu with prices included to the vendor coordinator before the event.
Allergies/Health-Specific Requests
Please post signs if you have nuts in your preparation area which present a cross-contamination risk.
If you can offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and/or nut-free options, please post that information as well – these are popular requests.
If you are able to accommodate special dietary requests, please be respectful of these orders for safety as well as consideration.
Serving Materials/Trash/Recycling
We are working to reduce trash at Wild Goose events and require food vendors to use recyclable or compostable serving materials. Any exceptions need to be approved by Wild Goose Staff.
There are a number of companies from which you can buy compostable materials. Please feel free to do this on your own, but we also have some suggestions:
- World Centric worldcentric.org
- Good Start Packaging goodstartpackaging.com
Items you CAN use for serving:
- waxed paper
- paper or wood
- aluminum foil
- engineered compostables (PLA, Bagasse, etc) which are identified as “Biodegradable”
Items you CANNOT use for serving:
- #6 polystyrene or any other type of Styrofoam
- plastic drink straws or lids
- any plastics (cutlery, cups, etc) UNLESS they are recyclable
- individual packs of condiments are not allowed due to the high contamination rate in compost
- single use plastic water bottles
Food Vendor Liability
Vendor assumes all liability resulting from improperly or under-cooked food or beverages as well as any liability or judgment resulting from malfunctioning or misuse of equipment including but not limited to tents, tables, and cooking equipment.
Electrical and Utilities
Please inform us if you will need access to a gray water tank. You will be responsible for emptying your gray water appropriately into the provided tank (which might be a short distance away from your setup).
We try not to have generators but we understand that sometimes that’s unavoidable depending on power availability. The vendor coordinator will communicate with you prior to the event to confirm electrical hookups are available for you. If you end up needing to use a generator, it must be relatively quiet.
You will need at least 100′ of power cord. The vendor coordinator should be able to give you an appropriate requirement. You will also be required to submit an image of your electrical plug so we can ensure power availability.
We will provide access to water for those who request it on the application and ask that you bring your own food-grade hose at least 100′ in length.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
SPACE
Once spots have been designated, there can be no switching without the permission of the vendor coordinator. Once your booth or truck is set up, please move all other vehicles to the designated parking area.
Vendors may begin setting up on Wednesday at 8:00am. Food vendors awaiting inspection cannot serve food until the Health Department permits it. Should any vendor’s spot remain unoccupied by Thursday at 10:00am, the Festival reserves the right to forfeit their spot without refund and use the space for any other purpose.
Booth fixtures shall not obstruct walkways, entries, or other booths. Each vendor must keep their site clean with all debris removed, and all trash and recycling (where available) placed in appropriate receptacles upon departure. If you require extra space, please communicate that with the vendor coordinator. An extra fee may apply.
All vendors must keep booths and trucks intact and open until 11:00pm on all three nights (Thurs-Fri-Sat) of the festival, and are encouraged to stay open later depending on demand. No early breakdown without permission from the vendor coordinator.
You may begin breakdown on Sunday after 1:00pm, unless an earlier time has been arranged with the vendor coordinator. If vendors need to camp Sunday night, please notify Festival staff.
Food Vendors: You will be assigned a space based on the size and electrical requirements you specify on your application. You are responsible for providing your own tent, table, fixtures, chairs, etc.
Craft/Merchandise Vendors: You will be assigned a 10×10 space in the Marketplace and are responsible for providing your own tent, table, fixtures, and/or chair(s). Please be mindful of weather conditions. You will need to make sure your booths and items can be secured during inclement weather (appropriately stake and/or weight your tent, etc).
NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
While we are confident that the Wild Goose Festival presents ample opportunity for vendors, the Festival does not warrant or guarantee any particular results from vending at the Wild Goose Festival, nor does it guarantee any particular number of attendees during the event.
INABILITY TO PERFORM
If Festival Staff should elect not to or be prevented from hosting the Festival or cannot permit the vendor to occupy a space due to circumstances beyond the Festival’s or Vendor’s control including but not limited to acts of God, Festival will refund to Vendor the amount of vendor fee paid. Should such occurrences happen during the Festival, vendor will receive a pro-rated refund. After refund, the Festival shall have no further obligation or liability to the Vendor.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Festival Staff shall have full power in interpretation and enforcement of all policies contained in this agreement and may make additional policies as necessary for the proper conduct of the Festival.
