The End of Poverty: A Social Fiction Story
Nobel Peace Prize Winner Muhammad Yunus has challenged authors to start writing social fiction, stories that imagine different social futures in much the same way that science fiction stories imagine alternative technological futures. In this session Larry Reed, Senior Fellow of RESULTS, will imagine a world where people of faith work together to make sure that all people have the opportunity to enjoy life in all its fullness. What kind of societies will we need to have in our world in order to eliminate the scourge of extreme poverty? What kind of relationships will we need to have with our neighbors and with those across the globe in order to bear one another’s burdens in this way? Come to find out how you can be part of this story!
