KIDS TENT PROGRAM
“What better place to find joy and wonder than in a tent full of kids?” —Emily Griffin, Kids’ Tent Co-Leader
In the Kids Tent we focus on creativity, safety and finding our place in the larger stories of God’s people. Using the Godly Play method as a foundation, we’ll gather and re-gather with music, share stories, wonder together and have a time of free (and perhaps messy!) art response.
We provide morning and afternoon sessions on Friday and Saturday. (The morning session is held twice, once at 9:45 a.m. and again at 11 a.m., to accommodate as many kids as possible. The afternoon session is held at 2 p.m.) Equipped with a secure check-in system, the program is facilitated by a team of volunteers, all of whom have received background checks.
Fun, age appropriate activities are offered, but this is anything but a babysitting service. The kids will enjoy intentional flock groups while playing and discovering meaning together. Kids 12 and under are free but it’s important to register your child in advance.

Kids Program FAQ
Will there be a secure check-in system?
Yes! Each family will be assigned a family number to be written on their families’ wristbands upon arrival to your first kids session. All adults with matching numbers will be able to pick up their child(ren). Wristbands MUST be worn by the whole family in order to drop off and pickup kids.
Will there be security for the kids tent?
Each session there will be volunteers (flock group leaders) designated to a small group of kids (8-10 kids). There will also be additional volunteers handling check-in, as well as volunteers designated to help with transitioning kids out of each session.
Is there a limit on the number of kids allowed to attend each session?
Sessions are limited capacity, so parents should pre-register Thursday night or sign up for the following day’s sessions by the end of that afternoon’s session.
Please plan to attend the Family Concerts with your child Friday and Saturday at 3:30 pm!
