UnClobber: Rethinking Our Misuse of the Bible on Homosexuality
Does the Bible still frustrate you when it comes to sexuality or sexual orientation? Are you open-and-affirming, but still wish you had a better grasp on how to process the Clobber Passages (the six verses about same-sex sex acts)? Or maybe you relate to having inner convictions that clash with your external situation? When I finally found alignment between my head and my heart around faith and sexuality it led to me getting fired as a pastor at an evangelical megachurch, which then set me on a journey to help liberate those who might feel like the Bible condemns them or their LGBTQ friends and family. UnClobber is designed to offer a faithful reading of the Clobber Passages that demonstrate not only does the Bible NOT condemn our LGBTQ brothers and sisters, but it actually calls us ALL toward wholeness and a flourishing life.
