Mary McGlauflin
Mary McGlauflin grew up in the Western North Carolina mountains. After living in Alabama and Texas during her early career, she returned to the mountains of her heart 28 years ago. Her spiritual journey has been a circuitous one, moving from fundamentalism to liberal Christianity to interspirituality. She has been deeply involved in social justice activism, and she is currently focusing on paying attention to the consciousness and energy she puts into the world.

The Gift You Are
In “The Gift You Are,” Reiki Master/Teacher Mary McGlauflin will interweave stories from Judeo-Christian and Eastern traditions with chant, movement, and opportunities for participants to work in small groups, exploring ways we are each called to grow into, as Fr. Richard Rohr puts it, “mirroring images of God to live on this earth and make the divine visible.” Or as Meister Eckhart said, “The seed of God is in us. …Pear seeds grow into pear trees, nut seeds into nut trees, and God-seed into God.” *This is part of the Troubling the Gospel offering.
