You are invited into a conversation about HIV/AIDS prevention in your faith community. Even with advances in treatment and prevention over the last 15 years, new infections continue to challenge black and brown communities and preventive medication can be totally out of reach for those most vulnerable. How does your church or organization make space for people to bring their HIV stories into the life of the community including and regardless of status? What is needed to empower people to seek education, testing, treatment, available resources and to encourage everyone to participate in thoughtful and even spiritual safer sex practices? How can faith communities move from condemnation, hesitation or reluctance to action and compassion. Faith leaders of color are particularly encouraged to join this conversation.
