The United States is in the midst of an addiction crisis. More people under the age of 65 died from alcohol-related causes in 2021 than died from COVID-19. Overdose deaths are now at over 100,000 per year, more than all Americans who died in the Vietnam and Korean wars combined. Hosting an AA meeting is a start, but there is so much more that the church can do. The Center of Addiction and Faith is a resource for faith communities looking to make a difference and engage in these important issues. There is hope and, in this session, you'll learn about how you can be a part of the solution.
