The Rustic Riders are an Adirondack based acoustic duo playing new and traditional folk music. Our new music is inspired by the love of our surroundings, its people and its critters and is rooted in our quest for social justice. The Rustic Riders share new songs with traditional roots and fresh arrangements of old songs and traditional tunes. A few quotes about us ... The message is as strong as the music is beguiling - Bill McKibben Rustic Riders is a great band for an all-ages audience. Their songs are bouncy and danceable and carry a loving message. Sarah Craig, Executive Director, Caffe Lena As retired social workers we remain very active in local social justice organizations and we live the slogan think globally, act locally. Our music reflects our values and raises people's spirits. In the folk tradition we invite people to join in making music with us. We have recorded 4 CD's with Dan Duggan - Hearing Heart, Love Grows Here, Wake Up!, and Nothing's Too Hard.
