The Rev. Nathan Empsall is the executive director of Faithful America, a Christian social-justice advocacy organization whose 180,000 members take action online to support equal rights and reduce the power of white Christian nationalism. Recent Faithful America campaigns include training local pastors to speak out against Michael Flynn's ReAwaken America Tour, organizing Christian textbanks against Donald Trump, helping pass pro-LGBTQ legislation, and successfully pressuring multiple networks to drop the Jim Bakker Show for selling a false COVID cure. Nathan is an Episcopal priest, climate campaigner, digital organizer, toddler dad, and Americana music fan who is obsessed with all things Christmas. Originally from Texas and Idaho, he now lives in Connecticut. His writings about Christian nationalism have appeared in NBC News, Newsweek, Time, Red Letter Christians, and more.
