Kate may have a resume full of administrative jobs that pay the bills and provide insurance but her true passion is making beautiful (and sometimes useful) things. Even in her earliest memories, Kate was making things for herself, family, friends, teachers... Anyone, really! This joy in making has continued throughout her life, leading to a multitude of artsy craftsy hobbies, from bookbinding to mixed media art to macrame. Along the way, she stopped just making and started teaching others, as well. Kate enjoys any chance she gets to encourage others to find the joy in paper, string, ink, glue, and every other glorious bit and bob that can be transformed into art.
