Kali is an Atlanta-based pastor and author who desires to create spaces where people feel safe enough to ask hard questions. She's spent nearly a decade engaged in various kinds of ministry and has written and spoken about anything from toxic mission practices to LGBTQ+-affirmative Bible interpretation to the role of women in the church. Kali holds a BA with Honors in Religion and Ministry Studies from Carson-Newman University and a Master of Divinity from the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University; she currently serves as the Pastor of Congregational Care at The Faith Community. She's also a contributing writer for the platform Good Faith Media. When she's not writing, teaching, or pastoring, Kali enjoys playing nerdy board games with her wife, reading, and cuddling with her cats.
