Jen Enriquez

Bursting with civic indignation after the 2016 election, Jen Holt Enriquez had to do something. So this part time lawyer, part time Children and Youth leader at church, and full time Mom created Peace Camp, a weeklong interfaith summer camp for kids in her Chicago suburb. She realized how deeply people of faith needed to show up for the real world challenges kids are facing. After the racial tensions of 2020 Jen acted again and joined forces to keep her Peace Train moving. Her work with Will Bouvel became Tell Me the Truth About Racism - a narrative approach, through faith, for children to cope with the endemic racism of the world around them. She led families in her own community and now inspires others around the US and Canada to lead intergenerational approaches to antiracism in their churches and schools. Jen seeks to become an instrument of Peace in all that she does and is fed daily by watching the skies above her morning walks and getting her hands dirty in her garden.
