The Reverend Gwen Fry has 32 years of experience as a priest in a wide range of parish settings. Ask her about her ministry at St. Edmund. Her experience coming out as a trans woman in February of 2014 makes her keenly aware of the necessity for the equality of all God's children. Experiencing the effects of discrimination first hand, she has been actively involved in justice work for the trans community and all who are marginalized nationally, and at the church wide level in the Episcopal Church. Gwen was called to be the Priest in Charge at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Waterville, Maine last October. When not bridging the religion/LGBTQ+ divide you will most likely find Gwen, with her wife Lisa, working on projects around their 1850 farm house, in her garden, and in her home chapel, the kitchen, exercising her creativity as she cooks. She enjoys cuddling with Lisa and cats Zeke and Mocha as they watch a Kentucky basketball game, Great British Menu, West Wing, or Ted Lasso.
