David Harold, M.Div, LCSW is a 40 plus year student and teacher of Taiji and Qigong. Retired after a long career in counseling and the human services, David is now deeply focused on how to embody, nurture, and radiate peace in a friendly and dangerous world, through teaching Peaceable Arts. Peaceable Arts is a body-mind-spirit practice distilled from Taiji, Qigong, and other wisdom traditions. We practice to cultivate peace in ourselves, radiate it into our relationships, and skillfully build a more peaceful world. This requires relaxing into our embodied humanness, finding skillful ways to express our power, and wisely extending benevolence into the world. We use individual and partner practices derived from Taiji, psychotherapy, and Christian wisdom traditions to build this peaceability, starting with our bodies and extending to our mental and emotional life. David is particularly interested in introducing these practices in a Christian context.
