Candy Leigh

CANDY LEIGH is pursuing her PhD in communication focusing on qualitative and critical studies of identity, power, and resilience. She currently resides in southeastern Wisconsin and teaches undergraduate courses in communication. As a yoga teacher and Reiki Master, Candy enjoys a healthy yoga and meditation practice to help balance her physical, mental, and spiritual health. Her published works include a memoir entitled Finding Life in Between, a children's book entitled Meet My Jesus, and a contribution to the anthology Inspiring True Stories of Everyday Heroes: From the Frontlines of COVID-19. Candy is also working on a self-help journal and a 30-day guide to help indie writers navigate their journeys to becoming published authors.
