Eco-Spiritual Direction with the Divine Feminine brings the long silenced feminine voice of God into the spiritual direction relationship by inviting the more that human world to act as Guide. The songs of the Divine Feminine can be heard, in large part, through the symphony of the trees, waters, and beings of this alive and sacred world. Through our own direct experiences with the feminine web of interbeing in the natural world, we will use deep imagination to listen for spiritual guidance through contemplative encounters with all of Earth’s beings. By way of the more feminine ways of knowing, we will explore long held captive facets of the Divine Feminine that are now emerging from the devastating imbalances caused by millennia of exclusively masculine images of God. The images, songs, and stories that emerge from these encounters will become sources of wisdom for unearthing our own unique wild callings. Together we will imagine how balanced, eco-centric images of God can guide us, individually and collectively, toward wholeness, peace, and justice.
