Far above profits, luxury, and convenience, good puts the needs of others above its personal desires. This session is equal parts story-telling, concert, presentation, and sing-a-long. Join Dr. Tuf Francis as we explore the concept of goodness and what it means to live a good life. We will look at some historical conceptions of good, and consider a simple definition of this elusive concept: good means being centrally concerned about the welfare of other living creatures. Good brings us peace. It brings us together. Good calms our soul, yet calls us to action. As a whole, we will discuss the pain and joy of being good in dark times as Tuf shares what he has learned about leading a benevolent life.
