Rev. Amy Vaughan / Poetry, Prose, and Preaching in a Post-Pandemic World

Fri 1:00pm - 1:50pm

Venue: Front Porch

Co-Creators

Type of Experience: Experiential

Content Type: Communication in a post-pandemic world.

Whether you consume poetry, prose, or preaching, or write and present it, written and spoken word can help us as we navigate our lives after…whenever after may begin. You will hear and see some examples in these three genres that can help you personally and as a leader in your own context. We will discuss how to build connections in community with others, particularly those who may approach the world from different philosophical, political, or theological viewpoints. How do we leave the mountaintop experience of gatherings like Wild Goose to build partnerships in the valley of everyday life.? Participants will have the opportunity to look at historical and personal examples from the presenter. Step by step, we will write together to develop new works with practical application for future teaching, preaching, and personal reflection.
