Susan Brouillette

Susan Brouillette is a graduate of Christian Theological Seminary and an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church USA. Susan is the organizing pastor of A Work in Progress Faith Community for Change, a PCUSA new worshipping community. Planted in 2021, A Work in Progress is dedicated to honoring and welcoming all people and the principles of community, service, justice, and sabbath. In 2014, Susan founded the Immigration Law Clinic at Lafayette Urban Ministry (LUM) where she continues to volunteer. She is an authorized immigration law practitioner and is accredited representative by the U.S. Department of Justice. While at LUM , Susan was also a lobbyist and community organizer advocating for immigrants and low-income families and children. From 1988-2012 Susan was the Assistant State Director and Constituent Services Director for United States Senator Richard Lugar. She also served as the senator’s immigration specialist. Susan lives in Lafayette, Indiana, with her husband, Michael, and their dog, Lulu. She loves to bike, hike, and kayak.
