Poet, prophet, preacher and pot-stirrer, Amy leads a church in Lincolnton, NC as they seek to love, care, and serve their neighbors near and far. Her first book, published in 2017 is a collection of poetry, 40 Days of Grief and Lament. Using art, poetry, prayer, and small group support, she has adapted in the last two years to lead with innovative digital and in-person initiatives designed to connect people in her community. She leads workshops teaching others to use their own creativity to pursue individual, community, and systemic transformation. Her previous work included development and direction of a three-site arts program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Rev. Vaughan co-created workshops at Wild Goose for the last five years.
