Rev. Shedlock is a United Church of Christ clergyperson who has served several churches in Ohio and Wisconsin in a variety of pastoral roles. He is currently serving as the transitional pastor of Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. In 1995, Glen became the chaplain for a hospice program in Dover, Ohio. His experience encountering the spiritual suffering associated with traditional “Christian” narratives led him to create a spiritual transformation program called “Return to Eden,” which he teaches, along with his friend and colleague, Rev. Barry Bordenkircher. Together, they are committed to creating a safe and empowering spiritual community for people who have been wounded by traditional forms of Christianity, or are searching for a deeper, more intimate connection with the Divine. Glen and his spouse, Missi, live in Canton, Ohio, along with their two English Cream golden retriever fur babies, Denver and Rosie, who have taken the place of their six kids (3 his and 3 hers) who are all grown up and doing their thing.
