Conversing About Climate

Sat 5:00pm - 5:50pm

Venue: Convo 04

We hear news about climate change almost daily and it can be difficult to discern what is true, what might be sensationalized and what we should really be paying attention to. In this session, we will talk about commonly asked questions and misunderstandings surrounding global climate change and its impacts. Typically we will start with the questions: how do we know for sure? Can we trust the research? Is this human caused? Is there anything we can do? These are the questions you may be asked by friends or family, and we will discuss how to have those conversations in ways that avoid burnout and frustration. The bulk of our session will be guided by the participants. Bring questions, be open. Let this be a respectful conversation and a place to find clarity.
