A Mindful Approach to Social Justice: Affecting Change Without Burning Out

Many say that if you love your work then it isn't work. This isn't necessarily true. You can still get burned out doing good and meaningful work. This interactive workshop will introduce a mindful approach to doing justice work along with practices that will help you prevent burnout while having the most impact. It will share some basic differences between stress and burnout, dispel some of the myths about burnout, and suggest tips for having a fruitful and meaningful career while having the most impact while maintaining your passion and sanity.
