Rev. Jennifer Butler

Rev. Butler is the founding CEO of Faith in Public Life, a multifaith network mobilizing faith communities in support of policies that promote equality and the common good. She chaired President Obama’s White House Council on Faith and Neighborhood Partnerships and was an international human rights advocate for over a decade. She is the author of Who Stole My Bible: Reclaiming Scripture as a Handbook for Resisting Tyranny which details her disillusionment with the Bible and Christian faith and delivers a fresh approach to faith and scripture as liberation.
