Laurel is a PhD Candidate in philosophy at the University of South Florida. Her dissertation is focused on climate change, ecological feminism and the conceptual frameworks that mutually reinforce the subordination of nature and minorities. Her work often intersects with theology due to the immense impact that religion has on social behavior. Laurel completed a Masters degree in Theological Studies at Candler in 2016 and lives in Durham, NC. This is her fourth Wild Goose and second time as a co-creator.
