Helen is a Home Missioner in the Order of Deaconess and Home Missioner in The United Methodist Church and works as an organizer with Reconciling Ministries Network, a nonprofit that mobilizes, connects, and equips people across and beyond The United Methodist Church to work for the full and equitable participation of LGBTQ+ people in the Church. Helen grew up in the southeast of England and moved to the US in 1998, today they live on the coast of NC with their spouse Kate (known as Mrs. Lovely on the interwebs!) and their naughty and cute dog Bella.
