Rev. Nathan Empsall, Faithful America

The Rev. Nathan Empsall is the campaigns director for Faithful America, the largest online community of Christians putting faith into action for social, racial, and economic justice. Faithful America is digital-first advocacy organization, using rapid-response online campaigns to challenge the religious right and renew the church's prophetic role in building a more free and just society. Rev. Nathan is an Episcopal priest, veteran digital organizer, and climate campaigner with a master's degree in Environmental Management as well as a Master of Divinity. He has previously served as an online campaigner for the Sierra Club and Organizing for America, among other advocacy organizations, and helped represent the Episcopal Church at the UN's 2017 climate change COP conference in Germany. He is a member of the Episcopal Church's Task Force on Care of Creation and Environmental Racism, creator of the independent Episcopal Climate News Facebook page, a part-time parish priest, and a proud dad.
