Cynthia Johnson

Cynthia Johnson has advocated for people with disabilities since Moby Dick was a minnow. As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and former President of the Arkansas Speech-Language-Hearing Association, she has made numerous presentations regarding communication in a variety of settings. She most recently supervised Speech-Language Pathology Services at the Conway Human Development Center, a residential training facility for approximately 500 individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. Having served in numerous capacities in the church, she is excited to see the fusion of her faith journey with her advocacy work. She is looking forward to her third Wild Goose Festival and for the opportunity to share her professional expertise in welcoming folks with disabilities into our faith communities. Cynthia is also a huge movie buff and has never met a pizza she didn’t like.
