Community Artist Alyssa Coffin is an interdisciplinary artist from New England. She graduated from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts in 2014 where she received a BFA in illustration with a fine art emphasis and an independent study in creative writing. She was a 2018-2019 artist in residence at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. While there she had the opportunity to work with the Smoky Mountain National Park and collaborate with their artists in residence. She now lives and creates in Knoxville, TN, while continuing to travel to make new work in diverse landscapes.
