Wild Goose welcomes submissions from anyone who wishes to speak or perform at the festival. This is an open call. If you resonate with the Wild Goose Invitation, we encourage you to submit an idea for a talk, conversation, workshop, music performance, worship experience, art installation or whatever you would like to offer.

2015 Wild Goose Festival Theme: Blessed are the Peacemakers
From Ferguson to Pakistan, 2014 was a year full of angst and strife around the world and in our communities. When we gather this summer we want to reaffirm our place in the world as people of peace. As we plan Wild Goose for 2015 we are hoping to present a variety of speakers and offerings that will encourage and support us in our vocation as peacemakers.

While we’re still going to cover a wide range of topics at the Wild Goose, the focus of our being together will be on bringing peace to the world. In addition to the inspiring speakers, music and art Wild Goose is known for, we are excited to tell you that we are also going to incorporate more worship experiences this year, so we particularly encourage submissions in that category. We value diversity and are seeking to encourage not just representation, but shared ownership from underrepresented groups.

Submission Information
To submit to be a contributor for the 2015 festival, please use the form below. The deadline to submit is March 6th. Contributor volunteers are considered part of the festival community, and volunteer their time. If accepted, you will be featured in the festival program and on the website, and we encourage you to fully participate in the festival weekend.

As we hope everyone knows, as a non-profit, the Wild Goose Festival is always having to find ways to make ends meet! One way we do this is by asking folks who are making submissions to pay a $40 application fee. After the submission deadline closes there will be a meeting of the festival planning committee to make final selections. This money will be used to partially defray the cost of the work of the selection committee. As always, speakers, bands and other offerings that are selected will be given a free tickets for their use. Individuals will receive an extra free ticket for a guest, and we will work with larger group offerings to accommodate them as best we can. Parking, camping, and meals on the day(s) you speak is also included for those selected. This $40 application fee will be used to help defray those costs as well.

As we always do, ticket prices will be frozen for those who submit, meaning that even though ticket prices will rise over the next few weeks, if you are not selected and want to purchase a ticket, you will be able to do so at the current $165 price. In addition, you will be able to apply the $40 application fee to your ticket and purchase a second ticket at the $165 price.

AND, as always, if the fee is a financial impediment to applying, please do not let that get in the way. We have reserved some money for scholarships for those who cannot afford to apply. Simply email mary@wildgoosefestival.org and she will help you with applying for scholarship to apply without paying.

If you have any general questions about submitting to be a contributor please email contributors@wildgoosefestival.org.
