Therese Taylor-Stinson

Therese Taylor-Stinson is the founding managing member of the Spiritual Directors of Color Network Ltd., an elder-advisor for the Mystic Soul Project, and an ordained deacon and ruling elder in the PCUSA having served a term as Moderator for National Capital Presbytery (NCP) from 2015-2017. Therese currently serves as Liaison for Race and Reconciliation on NCP’s Mission Coordinating Committee. In 2018 Therese won Indie Author Legacy Award “Author of the Year” in the area of social awareness for her solo edited work Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around: Stories of Contemplation and Justice and she was recognized by Grace and Race Inc., as a Collaborative Bridge Builder for her varied organizing roles around racial justice. She is foundationally a spiritual director in private practice for nearly 14 years and a graduate of the Shalem Institute, where she is a member of the Shalem Society for Contemplative Leadership.
