Bill and his wife Cherie raise vegetables, chickens, pigs and goats on White Flint Farm, their chemical-free farm in Keeling, Virginia. Bill is a former attorney, a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary and is the author of Organic Wesley: A Christian Perspective on Food, Farming, and Faith (Seedbed, 2015).
We get to vote 3 times a day on the kind of world we want to live in. The consequences of our food choices extend far beyond just our personal health. In this session farmer/ethicist Bill Guerrant will discuss what’s at stake when we choose our food and will provide practical suggestions for how to make food choices that are best for ourselves, our communities, our fellow creatures and all of creation.
